12/14/12 - 9:30 AM, Lanza home media attached; 1-3

Perpetrator, Adam Lanza, entered his mother’s bedroom¹ shooting four times into his mother’s
head with a .22-caliber Savage Mark II rifle². Nancy Lanza, 52 died in her sleep by her own son’s hands.
Adam Lanza then drove his mother’s car³ to Sandy Hook Elementary School.

12/14/12 - 9:35 AM, outside of building media attached; 4-11

Lanza parks the car near the school’s fire lane. Lanza is already equipped with his gear⁴ at this
time. Glock 20SF handgun⁵, a 9mm SIG Sauer P226⁶ and a .22LR Savage Mark II bolt-action rifle⁷ as well
as hundreds of rounds of ammunition. Lanza exits the car, walks around the back of the car where he
drops a jacket⁸. He then moves to the passenger’s side door where he picks up his mother’s Bushmaster
XM15-E2S rifle⁹ with ten magazines each loaded with 30 rounds. Lanza also used duct tape to hold two
magazines together¹⁰. He also leaves another jacket beside the car⁸.Lanza then fires a live round at the
sidewalk¹¹ and moves closer to the building.

12/14/12 - 9:36 AM, entering building media attached; 12-14

Adam fires eight rounds into a glass window¹² near the school’s locked front entrance doors. Lanza
steps through the opening as Hochsprung and Sherlach go to investigate the noise. Leaving behind other
staff members in a conference room, Hammond joins the two only to encounter Lanza. A faculty member
recalled hearing the three women shout, “Shooter, stay put!”. Janitor Rick Thorne yelled “Put the gun
down!” then later went running down the hallways alerting others.
Lanza then fires at the three women, killing both Hochsprung and Sherlach¹³ and wounding
Hammond. Lanza then enters the school’s office. Hammond uses this time to crawl into a nearby
conference room where she propped her body against the door to keep it closed. She had been shot in
the leg though would end up surviving. Lanza soon leaves the office after glancing at the nurse’s office,
assuming no one was there. Sarah Cox, 60, hid under a desk in her office, later reporting seeing Lanza’s
shoes a few feet away from her. Barbara Halstead hid in a supply closet for up to four hours where she
calls 911¹⁴. Lanza then heads back up the halls, passing the bodies of Hochsprung and Sherlach¹³ after
    firing additional shots at them.
Students recall hearing Lanza say “Put your hands up.” as well as someone other than Lanza
shout “Don’t shoot!” Students began hearing screaming and gunshots over the intercom - many began
hiding. Deborah Pisani was wounded in the foot by a ricochet bullet while closing a classroom door.
Lanza passes classroom 12, leaving Kaitlin Roig and 15 students physically unharmed. It’s
speculated that Lanza passed the room, assuming it was empty or not worth risking what could be inside
as the windows were blocked. This was because Roig had forgotten to remove the black piece of paper
from the window after a lockdown drill that occurred just weeks prior.

12/14/12 - [time] unentered rooms

Yvonne Cech and Maryann Jacob as well as 18 students took shelter in the library, only to come to
the devastating revelation that one door wouldn’t lock. The children then hid within a storage room as
Cech barricaded the unlocked door with a filing cabinet.
Maryrose Kristopik and several students took refuge in a supply closet where a student would later
go on to state that Lanza shouted “Let me in!” as he pounded at the door. The students remained
still and silent, leaving Lanza to move on.

12/14/12 - [time] classroom 8 media attached; 15

16 students and teachers; Lauren Rousseau and Rachel D’Avino herds the students to the
classroom’s bathroom¹⁵. Lanza enters the room. He notices the bathroom’s door being slightly open as the
small space could not contain everyone. Lanza fires all 29 rounds into the small area, killing 11. Lanza
reloads, ejecting a live round and continues firing 19 rounds at the bathroom. Lanza’s weapon begins
to fail, prompting a “failure to feed” error. Lanza then drops the magazine that still holds 10 rounds and
inserts a new magazine. Lanza fires another 17 rounds at the bathroom. Then discards the magazine with
13 rounds still active inside and inserts a new one. Lanza shoots 15 more rounds at near
point-blank range into the bathroom then leaves classroom 8- as all but two of the 18 lay dead. Two students cramped
into the very back of the bathroom remain alive, [name] and Benjamin Wheeler. Though Benjamin
Wheeler was fatally injured and was later declared dead in the hospital, thus leaving one survivor, [name].
A witness account claims hearing a boy scream, “Help me! I don’t want to be here!” - Lanza then
responds, “Well, you’re here.” which was followed by “hammering” sounds.

12/14/12 - [time] classroom 10

Lanza then stops outside the conference room where Hammomd lay wounded inside. Lanza fires
his Glock 10mm pistol near the door. (suspected to be testing it for its use for his suicide) The weapon
jams after the shot. Lanza then heads towards classroom 10. Victoria Leigh Soto headed over to the
classroom door in an attempt to lock it after calling for her students to hide. Some hid within closets,
others in the classroom’s bathroom and more under desks.
Lanza, upon entering the room, moves towards the room’s windows - firing 4 shots at Soto with the
Bushmaster rifle. Lanza runs out of ammunition and begins to reload. While doing so, Jesse Lewis calls
out for his classmates to run, prompting 9 to escape the room and 2 running into the classroom’s
bathroom. Lanza then fires one shot at Jesse Lewis, killing him. Lanza reloads and fires at teacher Anne
Marie Murphy as she holds student Dylan Hockley in her arms, killing them both.
After shooting all 29 rounds, he kills 4 [names] as well as wounding Olivia Engel, who would later
die in a policeman’s arms. Lanza reloads, dropping the magazine on the ground before ejecting another
    live round at the floor.
        Another account claims;
Lanza enters the room where all present at the time sat on the floor at the back of the classroom
where no one said anything. Instead, Lanza just pointed his gun at a student, but did not fire. The student
then ran out of the classroom.

12/14/12 - 9:40 AM, end

At this point, Lanza had fired 80 rounds of ammunition in under 2 minutes, killing 13 students.
Lanza then heads to enter another classroom up the hallway. Though, his weapon is overheated [photo]
and begins to fail. Lanza ejects four rounds into the floor in an attempt to fix the weapon, he leaves a
magazine with eleven rounds inside it and heads back into the hallway, starts towards classroom 6 but
most likely hears police sirens and enters classroom 10 instead. Lanza moves towards the bathroom with
two students [name] inside and inserts another magazine. He fires fifteen rounds at the windows -
damaging parked cars. The weapon malfunctions once more. Lanza then drops the weapon. He then pulls
out his glock (still jammed) and ejects four live rounds into the floor, which clears the jam when firing the
fourth shot. Lanza then shoots himself in the head, killing him instantly.
The suicide shot can be heard in [name]’s 911 call, [time] (link)
No photos of Lanza post mortem are available, though his body can be seen briefly in a few
photos. All of which are not explicitly graphic. Some may be difficult to figure out what is being pictured so
I will also label what I can.
personal reminder;
I also want to include the police’s timeline of things like when getting the calls and entering, what they first
saw, that sort of thing. I also want to pair up things with 911 calls. Like how the suicide shot can be heard
in one of the calls.
